QUOTE OF THE WEEK:
The APOK trilogy – The pacing is unapologetically aggressive. Scenes are engineered to force decisions, not linger on exposition…“hard to put down.”

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, APOK!
This month marks APOK’s 15th birthday. I can’t believe it’s been that long since I started writing my first novel. Where does the time go? The APOK story haunted me for 10 years before I ever put pen to paper… who knows what would have happened if I made the time to write sooner. Since beginning, it has certainly been an unexpected odyssey that is still far from over. During the creative writing phases of the APOK trilogy, my mind would wander into dreamland and out of those mini brainstorming sessions, I have created well over 20 more novel ideas. It would seem that I definitely have enough to keep me occupied for the foreseeable future.
What has been haunting you? What have you ignored that you’ve always wanted to do?
If there is one thing I have learned in this lifetime, be like a baby. Don’t let the noise of adult life get in the way. As children we are fearless, we don’t ask or seek our parent’s permission, we try everything because we want to, and we are so very happy / grateful when we succeed.
So, what are you waiting for? Make that list of dreams and get to work making at least one of those dreams a reality.
Enjoy your journey!
Mike
