APOK News
I hope everyone had a great long weekend and a Happy Easter. If you were fortunate enough to spend time with friends or family, that is what is important to me. Working on all the APOK related things is very time consuming and while working a full time job, the only available time is early mornings, evenings and weekends. Needless to say, I haven’t been the most social. In saying that I am very fortunate everyone understands and has been very supportive even if the process has taken 6 years. Thank you.
Now in APOK news, the re-release of APOK has been returned plotted and ready for print…sort of…I have gone through it quickly and now going through it again with a fine toothed comb. There is so much to consider, line spacing, font size, indenting… the list is extensive. I am striving for perfection, as a result, this process seems like the longest however I think it greatly impacts on the reader’s comfort. I want everyone to feel like they are in the most comfortable chair in the world as they navigate all the mental twists and turns.
In other news, auditions have begun for the audiobook voice of APOK. Don’t miss out on your opportunity for your voice to live through the ages. If you or someone you know is interested in being the voice of APOK please contact me for an audition. Details of the voice will be revealed by the end of May 2019.
APOK Derailed is being plotted. I expect to receive this within the next couple of weeks… and will go through the same process of reviewing the entire package, format, text, spacing and more. Should this impact the release date, as much as I want to complete the process and have the novel available for June 3rd, 2019, there will be no short cuts (which means it may be delayed slightly. Please don’t be too upset… trust me, the wait will be worth every page.) Should I delay the release, I will offer more prizes. Stay tuned for more information.
I have established a new photo shoot location and just found another one today. I’m eager to get these done to deliver some new material. I expect these locations will provide the vibe everyone is looking for.
This past week, I met up with AMARTEY Events and PINK Publicity CEO Connie at the unveiling of the new Porsche Macan at Porsche Centre North Toronto. She is excited to host the APOK Derailed book launch. More info to come shortly.
Lots happening I will keep everyone up to speed where we are as we move closer to release.
Thanks again,
Mike
