APOK News
Despite 2020 being such a crazy year, there is a lot of love out there for the APOK Series. I can’t thank each and everyone of you enough for your support. Because of your selfless sharing of the APOK journey we keep growing. I just received new reviews from a Vancouver reader that devoured APOK and APOK Derailed for Christmas.
APOK – Excellent – an awesome action-packed adrenaline pumping adventure. If you like action get this book, it’s a page turner, the writing is tight. Military precise. I read this book in a couple days and rolled right into the second book in the trilogy.
APOK Derailed – An exciting and captivating sequel to the first book from this debut author. Lots of action, descriptive fight scenes, well formed characters, fluid plot line with unexpected twists and turns. Can’t wait for the final book of the trilogy to find out how it ends!

As we complete 2020 and enter 2021, we also reach a 10-year milestone for the APOK series. Yes, New Years 2011, the spark fanned into a flame, gluing my fingers to the keyboard and writing APOK. I had no idea where this adventure was going to go, and in truth I still don’t, but I have a sneaky idea that the adventure is far from over for me and this series.
Before that date, I was never one for New Years resolution… I believe everyday gives us an opportunity to do or be whoever we want, however, New Years has the added bonus of time off to think about what we want to accomplish, and start the journey. As we prepare to ring in the new year, take some time to think about something that you always wanted to do and ask yourself, Is it still feasible? Can you still do it? The only one who can answer that question is you. And if there is something on that list, get to work and think, “baby steps”. Don’t think about the grossness of the journey, think one step at a time, regardless how small those steps are just know that they will eventually get you there (one keystroke at a time eventually equals 130,000 plus words).
I am hopeful and encouraged to think that 2021 will be the year things turn around.
